"Reaching Every Child" - 2001 Smart Start Conference Don't miss Smart Start's biggest conference ever. This conference is ideal for child advocates, child care teachers and directors and anyone interested in children and family issues. Contact Hour Credits (CHC) for child care workers, owners and administrators have been approved for selected workshops. The conference includes more than 65 sessions ranging from outreach to the Latino community to nonprofit fundraising.

"IMEA "All-State" Music Conference" The annual IMEA "All-State" Conference will be combined in 2001 with the MENC North Central Division. Titled "Vision 20/20 - Focus on the Future", the event will feature 10 select "All-State" musical ensembles, over 100 professional development sessions for music educators and a large music industry exhibit.
