Watertown Arts on the Charles

New arts center is seeking a Director of Programming. This is a unique opportunity to help develop and manage arts education, performing and visual arts programming in exciting, newly designed facility that includes classrooms, studios, exhibit areas, a 400-seat theatre and a black box performance space. The programming director will establish and maintain partnerships with users of the Center. The center is located in the recently renovated Arsenal on the Charles office park in Watertown, Mass., close to downtown Boston and Harvard Square, Cambridge.
The ideal candidate has exceptional managerial and organizational skills, as well as experience in developing and marketing successful and creative programs. Outstanding skills to build strong community, user, and volunteer relationships are essential.
We seek candidates who have demonstrated track records in nonprofit arts administration and who have excellent communication and presentation skills.
