Preparing for a career change after working as an Electronic/ Electromechanical Technician at Caltech and in industry. I have recently finished reeducating myself in Telecommunications at Pasadena City College. I am a certified Broadcast Technologist,SBE #23064. I received Certificates of Completion in Radio Controls,Video Operations, and Video Operations Technology.I have basic editing skills in linear and non-linear (Avid) video editing. I am also familiar with ProTools 5.0 and SmartSound for editing audio.I have experience as a camera operator at Caltech, with Pasadena Community Access Corporation (cable channel 56) shooting “Studio X”,a venue for artists in the late 80’s and “Animal Time”,for the Pasadena SPCA in 99’, and videotaping services for Bethany Church in Sierra Madre for release on cable TV. Also many hours in the classroom studio operating a video camera and spending time on the switcher.

I am familiar with the radio digital studio environment and have combo’d my own hourly radio show for Radio Free Pasadena,( 88.9 FM),a campus student radio station. I have also operated the sound board at KPPC 89.3 FM during training. I have also had a class in an actual recording studio environment, Clear Lake Audio,Burbank.

I am planning a career in Production and Post Production,and radio broadcasting. I feel my skills, past experience,and my ability to learn would be an asset to your organization.
