Marketing/Partnership Development
Initiated and promoted the Pesticides and National Strategies for Health Care Providers program through a comprehensive marketing strategy, including, position papers, leadership forums, media outreach, government agencies and stakeholder meetings.

- Public Policy Development
Directed a national initiative, Pesticides and National Strategies for Health Care Providers in collaboration with other federal agencies and non-profits to equip the medical, nursing and public health systems with the knowledge and tools to respond effectively to environmental health hazards.
Developed, drafted and published a national strategic plan to establish a cadre of trained medical and nursing faculty in pesticides and environmental health comprising of training and curriculum development, a web-based information gateway, facilitation and management of expert panels.
Managed and coordinated the publication of the 5th edition of The Recognition and Management of Pesticides Poisonings manual that provides state-of-the-art information on the toxicity, diagnoses and clinical management.
- Initiated and completed 300 workers' pilot project to evaluate effects of acute lead exposure in the bridge construction industry.
- Conducted industrial hygiene surveys; evaluated data, prepared issue paper, briefed management, and provided recommendations on potential cost-effective exposure mitigation options. Management initiated a larger project based on the results.
- Drafted several policy papers, under tight congressional deadline, to ensure success of EPA’s WPS.
- Grant/Contract Management
Provided leadership and managed $700,000 cooperative agreement with an environmental foundation, NEETF, for the Pesticides and National Strategies for Health Care Providers initiative.
- Managed and allocated resources for the initiative from federal, foundation and corporate sources.
- Managed various other grants up to $500,000 grants to academia, foundations, and community organizations.
- Risk Assessment/Cost-Benefit Analyses
Assessed residential and worker risk highly toxic pesticides, evaluated and recommended cost-effective exposure mitigation/pollution prevention techniques that resulted in 80% reduction in overall exposure.
- Developed strategy, questionnaires and marketing strategy to recruit new participants for a 2,000 member prospective epidemiological study to assess the effects of non-ionizing radiation on women office workers.
- Business Process Re-engineering
Directed Customer Service initiative for an 800 member organization; designed and implemented 4 baseline assessments. Developed and successfully marketed customer service standards to management and staff that resulted in 45% increase in customer satisfaction.
- Developed, coordinated and promoted the re-engineering and quality management of staff and business processes of a 1400 member organization.

- Designed and successfully implemented a one-year plan for moving a branch of 18 personnel into a team-based structure.
