Outward Bound USA is currently searching for a President to continue to be a part of this proud history and to further build and grow the organization. Reporting to the National Board of Trustees, this position will oversee the national organization, including all corporate functions, including finance, safety, programming, brand development, alliances and fund development. The president will also provide strategic vision and leadership to the individual schools, serving as the key liaison.
Required qualifications include: minimum of ten years executive, general management experience in progressively significant roles; demonstrated fund development experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a commitment to and knowledge of experiential education. Candidates must have passion for education and ideally the outdoors, and be a collaborative team builder. Proven experience in leading non-profit organizations a plus.
