National Cooperative Bank Development Corporation, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a Policy Development Coordinator. This person will build our capacity to influence public policy and its implementation to support the achievement of our mission, vision, and strategy. The coordinator will work with management and teams to establish and implement policy priorities.
Responsibilities include managing federal public policy and legislative activities; developing contacts in Congress; and managing lobbying strategies and coalition building efforts with all levels of government and community based organizations. We prefer a Master's degree in Public Policy plus 5 yrs legislative experience. Must have a good understanding of the legislative and budgetary processes along with an understanding of community development and finance fields.
