Mount Saint Mary's College and Seminary, founded in 1808, is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to direct a successful and growing Annual Fund program, which raises over $1 million in unrestricted support. The Director is responsible for leading an annual planning process that shapes strategies and action steps for the effective use of direct mail, phonathons, volunteers and staff in the solicitation of alumni, parents and friends of the Mount. These efforts are focused to meet the institutional goals for unrestricted support and percentages of alumni and parent participation. The Director reports to the Director of Development and supervises two staff positions.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in fundraising. The individual in this position should possess outstanding organizational skills, superior writing ability, strong interpersonal communication skills and an understanding of higher education
