Community organizer in a faith based Saul Alinsky-style organization with 30 churches in the network
- Expanded the organization to include seven new churches, providing new leadership in the organization
- Recruited and trained over 85 leaders in a full community development process which includes training in: one-on-one listening skills, selecting winnable issues, confronting targets in the public arena, and building networks for large turnout to public meetings
- Organized a large public meeting with over 350 people in attendance targeting local businesses, and city and state officials to clean up dangerous, unsightly properties
- Organized several large public meetings on specific winnable issues of injustice with appropriate targets
- Led regular training on community organizing, Biblical call for social justice, and building power
- Co-organized two annual fundraising drives resulting in a total of $242,000 from local grassroots sources - not foundation sources

Endangered Species Campaign for the Endangered Species Coalition
- Organized 6 district meetings with congressional targets to pass Endangered Species Reauthorization Act
- Wrote and organized publication of opinion editorial in the Philadelphia Daily News
- Led press conference with medical and religious leaders, including coverage in the Philadelphia Inquirer
Filthy Five Campaign for Toxics Action Center
- Built signature coalition with over 50 environmental groups and medical professionals
- Organized 3 radio and television show talk interviews for statewide coverage
Assistant Director for the Fund for Pubic Interest Research
- Recruited, trained, and directed a staff of up to 35 canvassers for the Sierra Club and PIRGIM fundraising and political campaigns along with 3 co-directors
- Organized 5 different media events for US PIRG & PIRGIM, receiving wide spread television, print, and radio coverage including an opinion editorial in the Detroit Free Press

Worked on grassroots anti-nuclear campaigns and projects led by several different environmental groups
Stop Temelin Campaign for Friends of the Earth, Czech Republic
- Coordinated international support for two annual nonviolent blockades at the Temelin nuclear power plant with a total of 1000 people in attendance and a nonviolent office occupation at a German bank
