MS raising money through Internet access service

The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Inc. has entered into an affinity marketing arrangement with an Internet service provider. Through the arrangement, the MS Foundation will receive a portion of monthly Internet access fees paid by people who sign up for the service.

The foundation made the agreement with AvTel Communications Inc., a California-based Internet service provider that operates in every state except Alaska, according to a news release issued by AvTel.

AvTel says it offers to nonprofits affinity marketing arrangements through which Internet access is offered to the nonprofit's members, with all the Internet products and services carrying the nonprofit's name. AvTel says it handles all the technical work, including establishment of Web sites and news services for the nonprofit.

For information, go to the AvTel Web site or call (877) 856-4426.
